Wrexham AFC Women have signed Canadian defender Sarah Harvey on a contract through the 2025/26 season. The 30‑year‑old brings international experience from England, Canada, Georgia, and Hungary, including appearances in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers during her time with FC Samegrelo.

Harvey began in grassroots football before progressing to League1 in Canada. After completing her studies, she launched her professional career with Puskás Akadémia in Hungary, later moving to Georgia for Champions League qualifying action, then to the USL W with Stockton Cargo SC. Most recently, she featured for Lewes FC in the FAWNL South before mutually parting ways to join Jenny Sugarman’s squad.

Harvey said the Club’s ambition and the growth of the women’s program drew her to North Wales:
“I’m at a point in my career where I want to help build something and create history. That’s exactly what this Club is all about.”

Head Coach Jenny Sugarman praised the signing:
“Sarah is a fantastic addition. Her experience, versatility, and character will make us better.”

Welcome to Wrexham, Sarah.
