Life, as we know it, eventually runs its course, and I’d like to take a moment to remember a player we lost on March 26, 2025. Butch Wilfred Crooks was a devoted father, a philosopher, a comedian, a musician, a man of faith, a soccer player, a goalkeeper, and, above all, an exceptionally kind human being. Wilfred lived by his principles. He was proud of his heritage and believed deeply in treating every person with respect and dignity. Wilf, you will always be remembered—not only for your friendship on the soccer field but also for the remarkable person you were.
